In the low-income sector of India, the workforce sees an almost equal ratio of men to women, which is a commendable milestone towards gender parity in employment. However, despite their significant contribution, these women often lack the necessary education tailored to managing their earnings.

Traditionally, it is customary for women to entrust their savings to family members or husbands. Such norms have long discouraged women from taking charge of their finances, perpetuating a cycle of economic dependency and vulnerability.

We envision empowering low-income women by breaking the deep-rooted social stigma associated with discussing and seeking help for financial management, emphasizing the importance of acquiring the skills to manage one’s own finances independently. Financial autonomy empowers women, enabling them to make informed financial decisions.
